Most venetians are fitted at the top of the window recess or frame. For bi-fold doors, French doors and tilt and turn windows, they can also be fitted right onto the glass with no drilling, so they move with the door and never get in the way. Questions
Which venetian is best for a kitchen or bathroom?
Faux wood or aluminium. Both cope well with steam and splashes and are easy to wipe clean. Real wood is best kept for living rooms and bedrooms.
What's the difference between real wood and faux wood?
Real wood is lighter and has a natural grain. Faux wood looks very similar but is made from PVC, so it's tougher and better in humid rooms.
What slat size should I choose?
Wider slats give a bolder look and a clearer view when open, while slimmer slats suit smaller windows. We'll bring samples and help you choose at your free home visit.
Can venetians be fitted to bi-fold doors?
Yes. Our Fit to Frame and Perfect Fit systems fit venetians to the glass with no drilling.
