University tested

Proven to cut your heating bills

Blind Screen® thermal blinds have been independently tested at the University of Salford's Energy House and by the University of Derby. The Thermol™ honeycomb fabric traps a layer of air at the window, so more of your heat stays in the room.

Blind Screen thermal test results: up to 81% heat retention, 10.8% to 15.1% saving on heating bills, tested by the University of Derby and the University of Salford. Professor Will Swan, Director of Energy House Labs: class leading thermal window blind

Why choose Blind Screen®

Fly screen and blind in one

Keep insects out with the windows open in summer, then pull across a blind for privacy or blackout at night.

Thermal honeycomb

The Thermol™ honeycomb fabric helps keep heat in during winter and the room cooler in summer.

Full blackout

Ideal for bedrooms and nurseries, for a deeper sleep and lie-ins on light summer mornings.

Up to 6 metres wide

The 02 and 03 systems cover big sliding doors, bi-folds and patio doors in a single screen.

No trip hazard

The 03 range runs on a low threshold walk-on track, so it's safe for children and easy to step over.

Slim and modern

A neat aluminium frame from just 20mm, with smooth, easy operation and nothing hanging down.

Find the right Blind Screen® for you

Questions

Can I have the window open with the blind closed?

Use the net/fly screen when the window is open. Blind Screen® advise not to open the window with the honeycomb blind fully closed, as on some occasions it can cause suction.

Is the blackout 100%?

The blackout fabric blocks the light. On dual systems with a net in the same frame, a little light bleed is possible on some sizes, so we'll talk you through the best option for each room when we measure up.

Will it fit my patio or bi-fold doors?

Very likely. The 02 and 03 systems cover openings up to 6 metres wide, and the 03 range has a low threshold track you can walk over.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the frame and blind with a damp cloth and a little mild soap.
